Abstract

|
Twin-twin transfusion syndrome(TTTS) is a serious complication of monochorionic gestations and is associated with high rates of perinatal morbidity and mortality resulting from shunting of blood from one twin(donor) to the other (recipient)
through
placental vascular anastomoses.
We experienced a case of TTTS at 27 wks in which amniocentesis was attempted serially for therapeutic purpose. Therefore, we present this case with a brief review of the literature.
